Wolseley Industrial Group, a division of Ferguson, is currently seeking the right individual to fill an immediate need for a Branch Manager in the greater Philadelphia industrial market. We are a full service distributor of pipe, valves, fittings and other industrial specialties and technical capabilities. If you have familiarity and experience with managing a business, managing a team of people, working in a sales environment, coupled with a commitment to great customer service, this is the position for you!
JOB DUTIES:
+ Manage the overall operation of a branch location including hiring, discipline, and scheduling of employees to ensure cost
+ effective and quality branch operations.
+ Maintain inventories at adequate levels, promote sales, and maintain the appearance of the branch.
+ Provide communication and motivational techniques in supervising, counseling, coaching, and disciplining associates.
+ Lead associates, processes, and policies of the organization in order to profitably maintain and grow market share, sustain
+ customer loyalty, and provide opportunities for growth.
+ Responsible for policy and strategy implementation.
+ Implement business strategies to achieve profitable business relationships and identify new revenue opportunities with major
+ accounts.
+ Responsible for the daily maintenance of the location.
+ Plan and control expenses of a branch location with profit and loss responsibility.
+ Performs all work in accordance with established safety standards and adheres to all safety policies, rules, regulations and procedures.
+ Participate in leadership meetings and represent associate concerns, policies and guidelines to the management team.
+ Conduct regular associate meetings.
+ Represent the organization to customers, associates and leadership as needed.
ASSOCIATE AND OPERATIONAL MANAGEMENT:
Has direct or indirect responsibility for the formal supervision of 8-10 associates with year 1 ? year 3 annual revenue in the $10 - $20 million range.
BUDGET OVERSIGHT:
May have authority to approve budgeted expenditures within established limits or has oversight of a portion of an established
budget. Has no budget setting responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ 3 ? 5 + years of Industrial experience ( PVF ? Valve Automation ) is preferred
+ Ability to lead and motivate individuals and teams
+ Ability to organize, prioritize, multi-task and effectively manage through stressful situations
+ Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, OneDrive etc.)

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
