Compensation Manager

BAYADA Home Health Care Benefits office is seeking a Compensation Manager, to join our team in Pennsauken, NJ. As a Compensation Manager you are expected to oversee the compilation of data, preparation of reports, and creation of pay structures as well as the planning and maintenance of work systems, policies, and procedures that enable and encourage the optimum performance of the Compensation Support staff. Support the organization's goals and objectives by implementing and administering compensation strategies. This position is a mid-level professional track position and will offer training and continuing education to support a career in management and leadership within BAYADA Home Health Care.

Responsibilities
Demonstrate and communicate the core values of BAYADA Home Health Care and The BAYADA Way.
Develops working knowledge of BAYADA's mission, services, people, organization, policies, and procedures.
Assesses and performs analysis on collected wage and salary data and prepares wage and salary data to facilitate compensation and management functions of across various BAYADA's business practices.
Converses with management to determine type, scope, and purpose of analyses.
Examines and evaluates executive and non-executive positions.
May work with other analysts or subject matter experts to complete assigned project work.
Studies current organizational wage and salary data, and compiles reports, organization and flowcharts, and other information.
Collects and analyzes occupational data, such as physical, mental, and training requirements of jobs and workers and develops written summaries, such as job descriptions, job specifications, and lines of career movement.
Audits and recommends changes to salary structures and position classifications.
Utilizes developed occupational data to evaluate or improve methods and techniques for recruiting, selecting, promoting, evaluating, and training workers, and administration of related personnel programs.
Reviews wage and salary adjustments for conformance to policy.
May observe jobs and interview workers and supervisory personnel to determine job and worker requirements.
Participates in the development/improvement of company policies and processes as they relate to the Compensation Support services.
Progressively assume additional responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications

Four (4) year college degree ? preferably in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Five (5) years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Prior work in compensation field and/or supervisory experience is strongly preferred.
Understands compensation theory and practice.
Supports the organization's salary structure, financial status, and operational goals/objectives.
Able to work independently; be self-motivated, flexible, versatile, and creative.
Possesses strong project management skills, including the ability to facilitate and organize.
Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) applications and can learn various software applications required to perform job functions. Experience in Workday, Survey submission through various survey vendors, Access database is preferred.
Knowledgeable in the standard compliance concepts, practices, financial processes, and non-profit compensation practices as well as other company policies and procedures.
Possesses excellent oral and written communications skills, attention to detail, and ability to interact effectively with management and prioritize diverse projects for multiple disciplines.
Demonstrated record of strong interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated record of goal achievement; successfully takes on more responsibility with positive results; ambition to grow past current position.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
