Billing and Reimbursement Intern

Responsibilities
We're looking for a part time Intern to join our Home Health billing and reimbursement team in our Pennsauken, NJ office. Through hands-on experience, Interns at BAYADA Home Health Care learn all aspects of patient billing and reimbursement.
As an Intern within the Reimbursement group you will learn to:
Work with Director and staff to provide support for the office's overall goals and functions.
Review, compare and coordinate EOBs, payments, denials, underpayments, etc.
Review billing, payment and bad debt histories with management.
Document and update all files ongoing.
Help support with managing portfolio of client accounts within the Reimbursement Office policy and procedure guidelines.
Provide telephone support.
Qualifications
Currently enrolled in a four year college degree.
A demonstrated record of strong interpersonal skills and goal achievement.
Strong customer service skills.
Computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office products.
Available between 20-25 hours per week between the hours of 8:30AM - 5:00 PM Monday ? Friday.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
