Summary
The Sr. Manager for Institutional Giving is a full-time senior-level professional primarily responsible for the strategic development, implementation, and management of a comprehensive annual giving program, including the coordination and oversight of supporting initiatives primarily in the areas of government funding (including fee-for-service contracts and grants) and foundation gift management.
The Sr. Manager for Institutional Giving works in the Fund Development Department and directly reports to the Chief Development Officer. S/he will manage the work of an Institutional Giving Manager and shared Development Associate.
Essential Functions
Guide the efforts of a coordinated matrix of communication and solicitation strategies involving proposal management in the area of major government fee-for-service contracts and grants, foundation grants, grant reporting management, identifying new institutional sources for funding--all focused on shaping a sustainable tradition of annual support through giving programs.
Foster the growth of best practices in the supporting areas of government fund management including fee-for-service contracts and grants, foundation grants management, new institutional giving cultivation/management, and data management. The Sr. Manager has a keen appreciation for the urgent need of annual giving as the enabling component of successful major and gift planning programs.
Provide strategic direction and long-range/short-range planning for all these areas in the context ofEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
