0 Pennsauken, NJ Pennsauken, NJ Full-time Full-time $65,000 - $80,000 a year $65,000 - $80,000 a year 3 days ago 3 days ago 3 days ago The Associate Manager, Events will lead and execute Puratos US customer and industry events including our participation in conventions, tradeshows, and conferences, as well as our national sales meeting and other Puratos-hosted events.
This position sits with our Marketing, Communications and Insights Team and will have a highly visible role across internal teams both nationally and with our global headquarters.
Key responsibilities include:
Project management; creating project timelines; Cost proposals, venue selections, event design Agenda development Coordination of event promotions Registration management Coordinating staff attendance Assessing return on investment/metrics Other responsibilities include Leading pre- and post-event planning meetings Adhering to the budget, negotiating contracts Purchasing promotional materials Managing sponsorship deliverables; ensure highest quality event deliverables as they relate to onsite and virtual events (venue selection, F&B and AV selection, signage, attendee experience, etc) Direct supervision of third-party vendors and presenters/speakers Lead and drive logistics management for events from start to finish including all aspects of planning and execution from site selection, vendor negotiation, contract management, event registration, marketing support, on-site staffing, run of show development, on-site experience, transportation management, post-event reporting Coordinate virtual and/or on-site production requirements (photography, videography, AV, lighting, signage, etc.
) Support event budget oversight and manage speaker logistics and payments Maintain inventory of event-related equipment and supplies Manage the yearly agenda of events, both for participation and execution Liaise directly with sales, marketing, and leadership to meet strategic needs, establish key event objectives and success measurements Create and manage approval workflows for event layouts, venue elements, signage, operational plans, etc.
Build and maintain database of approved vendors (AV, design, install, etc) to support events nationally Lead reporting for events (pre, during, and post-event) as well as team debriefs Build individual event strategies including identifying event goals, audiences, attendee journey and more Help identify relevant events in which our customer-facing teams should participate Assist with event and content strategies across business groups including product marketing, customer marketing, sales, and HR Prior Knowledge/Experience Experience with B2B events Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects and details simultaneously, and maintain professionalism under pressure Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision Strong communication and organizational skills Experience with contract negotiations and budget management Desired technical skills:
CRM experience, graphic design tool familiarity (Photoshop, Canva, etc), basic website content management The ideal candidate is skilled at producing both in-person and virtual experiences and must be comfortable with a digital or hybrid event environment Comfortable in a matrix organization with proven experience influencing stakeholders and presenting to senior leaders Looking for a Career for Good?
