5K a year 5 days ago 5 days ago 5 days ago Duties - Greet and welcome patients and visitors at the front desk - Answer phone calls - Schedule appointments and manage the appointment calendar - Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments - Maintain patient records and update necessary information in the electronic medical records system (Eaglesoft) - Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality - Handle incoming and outgoing mail, faxes, and emails - Perform general administrative tasks such as scanning, data entry and shredding Requirements - Proven experience as a front desk receptionist or in a similar role - Knowledge of dental office procedures and terminology - Proficient in using office equipment such as computers, printers, and phone systems - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment - Friendly and professional demeanor with a customer service-oriented approach Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
