2nd Shift-Mon thru Fri 12pm-8:
30pm This position is located in our Pennsauken, NJ location.

Observe all Puratos Good Manufacturing Practices, Standard Operating Procedures, and SQF standards.
Operate all manual, automatic and or material handling equipment, safely and efficiently, while maintaining high quality standards that meet or exceed Puratos and customer requirements.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Review MES Production Orders Inspect all finished goods for damage/cleanliness/expiration/lot code issues Ensure Line is sanitized using specified SOP procedures Completion of pre-flight check list prior to task Keep all tools and equipment in reliable working condition Use MES system for recording production Understand and execute all allergen regulations according to the SOP's Perform quality checks on the production line and fill quality paperwork Report down time in the OEE system Understand and monitor the OEE system Operate the packaging machine Must be able to learn computer systems and use of scanning technology Must be able to use production computer platform as instructed, including proficiency with SAP and MES.
Must be able to safely work with automated industrial equipment, including operation, changeovers and basic maintenance.
Report all food safety and quality issues to immediate Supervisor and / Quality technician.
Immediately report any safety issues to the supervisor, maintenance or management.
Responsible for the overall safety, quality, and efficiency of their work center Comply with all company SOP's ( specific SOP's particular for Job), GMP's, and SQF (specify regulations) Maintain a neat and sanitary work area at all times ( refer to pictures or additional details) Must conform to Puratos dress code and personal protective equipment policies Must be able to work overtime when mandated in accordance with the contract Must pass company physical when required Must complete skill assessments with passing scores as defined by Puratos policy Attendance record must be in good standing, less than 5 points.
Competencies/Profile:
Education Experience Minimum - High School or GED Work Experience Maximum - 2 years Prior Knowledge/Experience Must be able to use production computer screens as instructed.
Must be able to have basic computer literacy and understanding of operating system.
Must demonstrate the ability to communicate both orally and in written form in English.
Must be able to learn computer systems and use of scanning technology Must demonstrate specific prior experience that is directly pertinent to the skills required and operation involved.
Must be able to perform all job functions pertinent to the process Must be able to follow instructions.
Must demonstrate the ability to read and understand system instruction and training materials and show the ability to execute.
