- Receive incoming shipments and compare items to work orders or invoices - Verify quantities and quality of items received - Inspect packages for damages or discrepancies - Process and document returns, exchanges, and damaged items - Prepare shipping labels and documents for outgoing shipments - Pack, seal, and label materials to be shipped - Arrange transportation for outgoing shipments - Track and update shipment status using warehouse management system (WMS) - Maintain accurate inventory records - Assist with inventory control and cycle counting - Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of orders Skills:
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and calculating quantities - Experience with picking, packing, and order fulfillment processes - Familiarity with order picker equipment and forklift operation - Proficiency in using AS400 or similar inventory management software - Knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures - Understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS) and e-commerce platforms - Familiarity with MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems This position requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
