Position Overview:
As the Benefits and Wellbeing Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and managing employee benefits programs and well-being initiatives to support our employees' physical, mental, and financial health.
You will be responsible for ensuring that our employees have access to competitive benefits that aligns with the total rewards strategy, along with resources to promote their overall well-being.
This role requires a deep understanding of benefits administration, compliance, and employee well-being programs.
This position is vital in maintaining a positive employee experience and supporting our organization's commitment to happier, healthier employees.
Primary
Responsibilities:
Benefits Administration:
Manage and administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other benefits, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Collaborate with benefits providers, brokers, and carriers to resolve issues, and optimize offerings to align with strategic plan.
Educate employees about available benefits and assist with enrollment, changes, and claims.
Wellbeing Initiatives:
Develop and implement a holistic employee well-being strategy that addresses physical, mental, and financial well-being.
Coordinate wellness programs, workshops, and activities to promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle among employees.
Evaluate the effectiveness of well-being initiatives and adjust programs as needed.
Oversee the administration of the Me
Puratos digital portal.
Coordination with global health and well-being initiatives.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Collect and analyze data related to benefits utilization, costs, well-being participation, and employee satisfaction.
Prepare reports and recommendations for senior management to drive informed decision-making.
Recommend and monitor benefits and well-being KPIs designed to measure success.
Compliance and Regulations:
Stay up-to-date with relevant labor laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure benefits compliance.
Implement changes and adjustments as necessary to align with legal requirements.
Partner with employee benefits broker to prepare and submit required reports to ensure regulatory compliance.
Communication and Employee Support:
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee questions and concerns related to benefits and well-being.
Create and deliver clear and engaging communications to educate employees about their benefits and well-being options.
Educate and train Human Resources team on employee benefits programs.
Open Enrollment:
Organize and oversee the annual open enrollment process, which includes communication, benefit plan presentations, and support for employees in making informed choices.
Leave of Absence:
Develop and oversee Leave of Absence workflows.
Partner with Leave of Absence administrator to create a smooth employee experience.
Vendor Management:
Act as the primary point of contact and manage relationships with vendors and consultants.
Competencies/Profile:
Education experience Minimum - 4 Year / Bachlelor Degree Preferred - Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) Work experience - 5 - 7 years of experience with plan management and/or health and wellbeing programming.
Prior Knowledge/
Experience:
Role requires experience with self-insured medical plans and associated analysis/strategic plan design Experience with implementing and managing strategic health and well-being programming Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at one time Proven experience in benefits administration, HR or a related role.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Spanish language proficiency (preferred).

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
